About the Great American Royal Circus

There is mind-set that people relying on food banks are homeless substance abusers, not true. Unfortunately in today's economy, the majority of families are living paycheck to paycheck. All it takes is an illness, down sizing of your company, a natural disaster, or maybe even something as simple as a mechanical problem with your car and you could be relying on your community food bank.

The disturbing fact is 37 million Americans lived below the poverty level last year. With the cost of fuel and slowing economy, more and more hard working families will rely on already strained community life lines. Sadly, not all needs will be met.

The New York Times - Food banks around the country are reporting critical shortages that have forced them to ration supplies, distribute staples usually reserved for disaster relief and in some instances close.

GARC recently performed a national survey National Survey Results. An over whelming 71.6% of Americans said they have not been to a circus in the last five years. The number one answer at 47%, too expensive. The average American family of four could expect to pay $72.00 just in admission alone. However, not at the Great American Royal Circus. Bring one can of food to the circus and get in free. All items received at the show will remain in your community. A win win situation.

With more and more financial aid going to Wall Street and overseas, it seems as if the less fortunate Americans have been forgotten. Please join us in our fight to feed hungry Americans, while providing FREE family entertainment. EVERY dollar counts, please make a donation today, even if it's only $5.00.

Thank you in advance for helping the Great American Royal Circus achieve it's mission. Replenishing food banks across America, while providing family entertainment.

Sincerely,

Thomas Hand
